Terry and Jeanne Harsch met when they were 16 years old.  While Terry had been raised in a Christian home and had a conversion experience and baptism at the age of 9, he was turning away from the church at the age 16.  By contrast, Jeanne had not experienced a Christian home and was at a new point in exploring faith.  Her perpetual questions got Terry to look back over his shoulder at Jesus.  His attempts to answer Jeanne's questions were part of Jeanne's journey to faith in Jesus.  Their life together has had that ever present component, where they have been the catalyst for growth in faith in each other's lives.

Terry and Jeanne served in a variety of ministry roles in the Edmonton Vineyard since 1990 when Harvest began.  They were part of the Old Strathcona Vineyard (OSV) church plant in 1995 and stepped into the senior pastoral role in 1997. There they pastored for 27 years until May 2022 when it was decided to bring OSV into its final port. During these ministry years they pursued caring for the homeless, extending care and support to other fellowships, worship in the community and in the church setting, and ministry trips to Haiti.  Amidst these amazing life experiences, they raised their three children.  Jeanne delighted working in her profession as a Clinical Nurse Educator in a hospital Emergency Department until she retired in 2021.  She described her work-life as "God simply took the walls off the church for me."

In September of 2022 Terry and Jeanne were given opportunity to pastor at Avenue Vineyard Christian Fellowship in Edmonton, where they continue to pastor, describing it as a privilege and a joy.  Terry states that the defining values that have shaped their ministry are:

To create a safe place for people to find their faces

To raise up a people who look like Jesus

Terry and Jeanne continue to delight in each other, in the life and ministry they share together, in discovering the presence and life of Jesus in those they have been given to pastor, and in the life-giving gift of worship. They treasure investing in their kids and grandchildren and are rejuvenated by motorbiking, camping, and grandparenting.

Terry and Jeanne are richly blessed.
