DEVELOPMENT GROUPS

Childrens Development Group

The Children's Development Group (CDG) focuses on children and children's ministry in the Canadian Vineyard. Currently there are three people in the group, although we try to have one from each the four Canadian Vineyard Regions. The purpose of the Group is summed up in the anacronym CHILD:

C - Communicate vision
H - Help distribute resources
I - Increase family involvement
L - Leadership development and support
D - Develop a national network

About Us

Jacqui Pylypiw represents the Ontario Region. She has been the children's pastor at the Cambridge Vineyard for twelve years. She spearheaded the Kids Club summer outreach program that has been running for ten years. Jacqui is passionate about helping parents establish their homes as the primary place where faith is nurtured and is working with her church leadership towards becoming a "faith at home" church. Jacqui and her husband of thirty years, David, live in Cambridge. They have three grown kids, Genevieve, Joel and Katie.
Ang Moore is the representative for the Atlantic & Quebec Region.
Judi Pottage is the representative for the Prairie & NWT Region.
Bonnie Bylsma represents the BC Region. She has been the children's pastor at the Kamloops Vineyard Church for over four years. Bonnie had the priviledge of growing up to learn from and partner with her parents in children's ministry. She is passionate about encouraging children to participate in and contribute to every aspect of ministry within the church and in the community.

Curriculum

Many of us have, over the years, written curriculum for our children's ministry. If you are willing to share what you have written with other churches we invite you to submit it to your Regional CDG representative for approval. Our requirements for approved material are that it be user friendly, scripturally sound, and that it reflect the theology of our Vineyard Churches in Canada.

The Kingdom Kids Curriculum is posted in the Resources section and is free to download.
